Inspired by the timeless design of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, this X-Bench celebrates the famed Barcelona motif quite well. Although not by a particular designer, the frame is an excellent design artifact which our team best preserved as a generously sized bench. The original frame is crafted from solid brass and exhibits rich patina from age, making it appear more akin to bronze. We selected an imported Italian Bouclé in the color Snow for the upholstery, a wonderful complement to the darkened frame. The swooping X’s on each side of the bench are elegant and defining, the piece takes on an almost sculpture like form suitable for placement in a multitude of spaces.

This bench is perfect at the foot of a bed, in a coffee table setting, or perhaps a foyer. The upholstery is new and has been executed in-house by the Object Refinery Workroom team. The base is completely original and the patina has not been polished. Please contact us should a polished brass look be desired.
