The renowned German architect and designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is a legendary figure in the world of early 20th-century design, particularly within the Bauhaus school. During this influential period, Mies van der Rohe was inspired by his peers such as Marcel Breuer and the innovative materials of the time. Drawing inspiration from 19th-century rocking chairs, he utilized tubular steel to create the iconic MR collection of cantilevered designs.

We present to you an MR Lounge Chair, a timeless chair in the style of Mies' original design, which is currently produced by Knoll. This chair features a polished chrome tubular steel frame, complemented by thick leather straps that support a plush, quilted leather cushion sling.
