We are constantly searching for examples of beautiful design from the past. Subtle details, definitive lines, careful proportions; these are some of the qualities that catch our eye. Pieces that check all of the boxes are few and far between, and in the event we strike gold, we try our best to execute a deserving restoration to do the piece as much justice as possible for ensured longevity. This all rings true with these stunning Mid-Century Club Chairs, the result could not be more stunning.

During restoration the Object Refinery team made several decisions having to do with both overall aesthetic and materiality. Each chair was stripped down to its frame to thoroughly address structural integrity. With firm-density foam in the seat and medium-density in the back, these chairs offer the most optimal comfort, far better than even their original build. The team refinished the Beech Wood frames in Natural with a White Wash stain and selected a gorgeous cotton velvet in the color Sea. The combination allows for the formal velvet to be dressed down by the casual frames, and vice versa. This Mid-Century pair have been refined with contemporary style and are ready to be enjoyed for many more lifetimes.
