One of their most recognizable designs is the Aluminum Group collection which Herman Miller continues to produce to this day. The Eames’ masterful engineering of this new design became a production hit at Herman Miller in 1958 and a shining example of this famed design is this shown Aluminum Group Management Chair, upholstered in exquisite Edelman Leather.

Charles & Ray Eames’ brilliance with this design was achieving unparalleled support with such a slender silhouette. Not only did they master their goal, but it’s remained an icon of office furniture design for decades and remains so, with modern day furniture still taking inspiration from this age old Eames design. We sourced this chair from Edelman Leather’s Connecticut facility and it’s upholstered in their own material; a gorgeous smooth leather in an iridescent Copper. While the chair shows minor wear consistent with age and history, it is in exceptional condition. The combination of its provenance and its Edelman Leather upholstery make it a one of a kind conversation piece. This chair features an adjustable tilt mechanism as well a manual height adjustment.
