Pace Collection Accent Tables, Pair
Pace Collection Accent Tables, Pair
With the goal of creating pieces of high-design that differed from contemporaries such as Knoll and Herman Miller, Irving & Leon Rosen founded the Pace Collection in 1960. They looked to the simplicity of materials to be the voice of their collection, all expertly fabricated and finished. Polished metals and high gloss exotic veneers were commonplace and to this day remain unapologetically Pace.
A prime example of the Pace Collection are these exquisitely executed Accent Tables which very much celebrate timeless materials. Rosens’ expert eye for proportion created these delightful pieces of design all based on circular geometry. Gorgeous glass, visually weightless, is securely nestled between a solid brass cap and a polished brass extrusion. These are then tethered to a rich piece of travertine to both visually and physically ground the trinity. The beauty exists in the tables’ simplicity and how effortlessly each material collides with the next exposing no means of construction.
These tables remain in their original condition with considerably minor wear. No chips can be found in the glass or travertine, minor abrasions exist throughout, consistent with age and history. Rarely are these found in pairs, serving as excellent accent tables or a coffee table cluster. We highly recommend shipment via insured White Glove however these can be disassembled and shipped via Parcel, please contact us for a Parcel quote providing the destination ZIP.
