Danish Wood-Frame Settee
Danish Wood-Frame Settee
The Danish excelled in design during the Mid-Century and Art-Deco eras, and still do to this day. Danish sensibility for delicate proportions surpassed that of any other furniture makers of the time. Such is true with this petite settee, meticulously restored to celebrate the beauty of Danish design.
We've brought this settee right down to its frame to ensure another lifetime of existence. The design features a surprisingly generous seat area in both width and depth. Each beechwood arm extends from the seat-back and continues downward to form each leg. The wood frame sports subtle curves which welcome users into its embrace. The beechwood has been completely restored in a warm honey finish.
Staying true to Danish heritage while also employing the use of sustainable materials; our team chose an unbelievably plush faux lambswool in the color Ivory. Sitting on this settee is a cloud-like experience, inviting from every angle. The result is a delightful piece of Danish design which can effortlessly live within any nook of a home. Curl up with a book, have an intimate chat, or wind down before bed - every moment is more comfortable with lambswool.
